"Bare Trees"

“Bare Trees”

Bare Trees was the sixth studio album by British rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in 1972. This is their last album to feature Danny Kirwan, who was fired during the album’s supporting tour. In the wake of the band’s success in the mid-70s, Bare Trees peaked at No. 70 and achieved Gold status in 1976 and was later certified platinum for selling a million copies.

“Bare Trees” Lyrics

Bare trees, grey light
Oh yeah it was a cold night
Bare trees, grey light
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed
I was alone in the cold of a winters day
You were alone and so snug in your bed
Bah do dah, do dah da do da do…

Fighting Bull

Spanish Fighting Bull

I think that this animal is not only large but fierce. I would not like to meet very close to him …

The Spanish Fighting Bull (Toro Bravo) is an Iberian heterogeneous cattle population. It is primarily bred free-range on extensive estates in Spain, Portugal and Latin American countries where bull fighting is organized. Fighting bulls are selected primarily for a certain combination of aggression, energy, strength, and stamina. Mature bulls weigh from 500 to 700 kg (1100-1600 lb)

Personally I hate bull fighting. I love animals, even this issue so dangerous.

Collserola Tower. Barcelona

Collserola Tower. Barcelona

Connect: to establish a communications connection. I thought of the largest communications tower in my city, which connects millions.

Torre de Collserola is a uniquely designed tower located on the Tibidabo hill in the Serra de Collserola, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was designed by the architect Sir Norman Foster and by the Spanish civil engineers Julio Martínez Calzón and Manuel Julià Vilardell. This emblematic tower was built in 1991 for the 1992 Summer Olympics. It features a pod for floor space like many towers but uses guy wires for lateral support like a mast. Mainly used as a TV and radio transmitter, this futuristic design provides the highest viewpoint over the city. The top antenna reaches 288.4 m (946 ft) and the top of the pod, which has thirteen floors, reaches 152 m (499 ft). The highest point of this tower is actually the highest place you could be in the city of Barcelona.

The total weight of the tower is 3,000 tons.

The lower guys are composed three series of 180 parallel strand cables (15 mm diameter) made from pre-tensioned high-strength steel with a polyethylene covering, each;

The upper guys are made of three series of 7 aramid fibre cables in parallel (56 mm diameter), each terminated with a resin socket.[1] The three upper cables have a combined breaking strength of 4,200 tons.

Solitude in the sea

Solitude in the Mediterranean sea

Loneliness is marked by a sense of isolation. Solitude, on the other hand, is a state of being alone without being lonely and can lead to self-awareness. Hara Estroff Marano

“I never said, ‘I want to be alone.’ I only said ‘I want to be let alone!’ There is all the difference.”  Greta Garbo

Bliss: complete happiness, great joy, paradise, or heaven. I think that this couple has a clear idea of what is bliss:  a good day without obligations lying under the Mediterranean sun. No, not a bad thing really,

Sea Water

Sea Water

I live in a city beside the sea and since I was a child I lived near the sea. In many of my memories water is present and I feel water as part of me. This is a photo of the sea taken from the coast of Barcelona. Hope you like it.

Seawater, or salt water, is water from a sea or ocean. On average, seawater in the world’s oceans has a salinity of about 3.5% (35 g/L, or 599 mM), which is a specific gravity of about 1.025. This means that every kilogram (roughly one litre by volume) of seawater has approximately 35 grams (1.2 oz) of dissolved salts (predominantly sodium (Na+) and chloride (Cl−) ions). Average density at the surface is 1.025 g/ml. Seawater is denser than both fresh water and pure water (density 1.0 g/ml @ 4 °C (39 °F)) because the dissolved salts increase the mass by a larger proportion than the volume. The freezing point of seawater decreases as salt concentration increases. At typical salinity, it freezes at about −2 °C (28 °F). The coldest seawater ever recorded (in a liquid state) was in 2010, in a stream under an Antarctic glacier, and measured −2.6 °C (27.3 °F). Seawater pH is typically limited to a range between 7.5 and 8.4. However, there is no universally accepted reference pH-scale for seawater and the difference between measurements based on different reference scales may be up to 0.14 units.

roller skating

Girl skating in front of MACBA museum. Barcelona. Catalonia

Roller skating is the traveling on surfaces with roller skates. It is a form of recreational activity as well as a sport, and can also be a form of transportation. Skates generally come in three basic varieties: quad roller skates, inline skates or blades and tri-skates, though some have experimented with a single-wheeled “quintessence skate” or other variations on the basic skate design. In America, this hobby was most popular, first between 1935 and the early 1960s and then in the 1970s, when polyurethane wheels were created and “Disco” oriented roller rinks were the rage and then again in the 1990s when in-line outdoor roller skating, thanks to the improvement made to in-line roller skates in 1981 by Scott Olson, took hold.
