Today featured this photo in three different versions: monochrome , HDR monochrome and color. I can’t decide what is the one I like…

I love the colour version because you have the 3 primary colours quite strong. The HDR version is more to my preference than the monochrome, because it almost looks futuristic.

Difficult to say, maybe the colour one is slightly ahead but I like the HDR one too

Thank you Betty. The HDR seems to win…

My preference is the second one – is that the monochrome … or the HDR?

The second one is the HDR.
Thank you Lynne!

There is a wide tonal range and good contrasts in image number three which have produced a great result in image No1. I’ve rarely seen an HDR processed monochrome image I can warm to and this one is no exception. However, the toss up between 1 and 3 is difficult but ny coin has come down in favour of No3. What a great idea to show us the difference between the three genres in this manner. Full marks.

I like the HDR version!
The perspective and the background is really great- the girl on a bicycle and motorcycles in the background. Keep up the good work 🙂

The HDR shot shows the contrast between the action on a pedal bike and the motor bikes that are parked. I can see more clearly that they are all motor bikes in this picture. It has a surreal nature and pulls my imagination. I can write about this character in this world. She’s doing an action in contrast to her environment, yet it fits right in.
